The main goals of the forum are to exchange the contact information, to collaborate on incident response and to exchange experience on different computer security related topics. LV CSIRT has its own mailing list to effectively exchange with the newest information. As a forum we do not handle with incidents but we are here to make more effective collaboration with other institutions in Latvia. Response to the incidents is responsibility of each CSIRT. One of our issues is to inform Latvian internet providers and users about the security incidents and how to prevent them, making the use of the internet more secure.
